“EL AVELLANO” Farmhouse
Located in the eastern part of the province of Granada. It is located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountains (next to the natural park). Access to the property is through forest tracks and public roads. With a distance to the nearest town about 8km.
The farm covers an area of about 180 hectares. Approximately 132 hectares registered
About 135 hectares are composed of forest (rock roses, holm oaks, mastic trees, oaks, gall-oaks, thyme, rosemary, etc.)
Other 35 hectares are rainfed land
About 10 hectares of irrigated land
It has several springs of small flow
Currently has with different types of licenses granted by the relevant authorities. Such as:
• Farming of cattle (unlimited number of head)
• Exploitation of sheep and goats (unlimited number of head)
• Exploitation of horses (up to 8 horses and 4 breeders)
The farm has a building of 486 square meters for storage of tools.
All kinds of livestock facilities
0.5 hectares planted with fruit trees, fruit and vegetable cultivation. This land is fenced and has watering system.
Being situated in an enclave of high hunting and landscape value is very frequent presence of all kinds of native animals of our mountains (wild goat, wild boar, foxes, eagles, rabbits, hares, wood pigeons, etc.)
It has a raft of water of about 3300 cubic meters of capacity, located at a height greater than the facilities for irrigation and supply. Inside the farm there are 2 private wells for water extraction with a capacity of 7000 cubic meters a year.
The house is composed of a typical Andalusian building U-shaped with a courtyard of 600 square meters and around 700 square meters of construction divided into the following units:
Livestock slaughter room with fireplace and pantry, with an area of about 90 square meters. On the second floor is a drying room for hams around 36 square meters, with excellent ventilation.
